Neal attended the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina before starting his professional career as an analyst at a publicly-traded bank.
After Charleston, Neal moved to North Carolina and worked as a consultant to a firm heavily involved in the 2012 election cycle. The use of technology in the 2012 election would change the course of political marketing forever. This experience opened his eyes to the power of data consulting and engineering.
Following the 2012 presidential election, Neal took a full-time role with an IT consulting group and played a large role in driving B2B sales growth for that organization. It was during this time, Neal saw the worlds of business, marketing and technology collide. Business transformation was digital transformation.
In 2017, he took what he learned from these past roles and founded Dais X in Greensboro, North Carolina. In 2019, Neal merged his company with an AI-focused firm and moved the combined company to Charlotte, North Carolina.
Throughout his career, Neal has provided IT and business consulting services to a wide range of commercial and government clients. He is a frequent speaker and panelist at IT industry conferences and entrepreneurship programs. He remains passionate about helping companies drive business growth.
